AI Disclosure
Effective October 16, 2026
This AI Disclosure explains how macrointuitiveOS, operated by Motus Strength Health Club Inc. ("Motus Strength", "we", "us"), uses artificial intelligence (AI): what it does, what information it uses, what it can't do, and how to use it safely.
1. Tim AI is an AI, not a person
“Tim AI” is an AI assistant built on the coaching methods, guidelines and knowledge of Tim, our founder and head coach, and used with his permission. It is not Tim. Tim and the coaching team do not see or approve its replies as they are written. This applies whichever coach you work with on the platform. If you want your coach’s own view, contact your coach directly.
2. Where we use AI
- Tim AI — the chat, and the “Ask Tim AI” box on each tab — answers questions about your plan, nutrition, training and the app.
- Food Tracker — Photo identifies the foods in a meal photo and estimates portions and macros. Voice: your phone’s or browser’s built-in speech recognition (for example Apple or Google) turns your speech into text on its own service, and the text is then analysed by AI. Search offers “Estimate with AI” when a food isn’t in our database. Barcode reads a product’s Nutrition Facts label from a photo when the product isn’t found — you check and can edit every number before it’s saved. Food “versions” suggest alternative versions of a food with different macros.
- Nutrition tools — Meal Remix, Recipe Builder, Menu Audit (including photos of menus) and Travel Agent generate suggestions.
- Workout builder (app members) — builds workouts and weekly training plans.
- Behind the scenes, for your coaching team — AI helps draft your monthly progress reports, read your nutrition plan documents and summarise coaching calls. Your coach reviews reports and plan changes before they reach you.
The barcode scanner reads barcodes on your device — camera video is not sent to us or to AI. Macro Swap and Drive Thru use our food database and set rules, not AI.
3. What information the AI uses
To give you personalised answers, the AI receives what you send it (messages, photos, spoken text) and relevant context from your account, which can include:
- your name, goals and intake answers;
- your nutrition plan and macro targets;
- your recent check-ins and progress reports;
- your Food Tracker log — including your favourite foods, the foods you log most and your usual meals — so it can suggest foods you already like;
- summaries of your recent coaching calls (see section 4);
- working files your coach keeps in your Google Drive folder, such as tracking sheets.
We send only what a feature needs, and never use it for advertising.
4. Coaching calls
Coaching calls may be recorded with a meeting-recording service (currently Fathom) so your coach can keep accurate notes. Recordings and transcripts are summarised by AI, and a short summary of agreed next steps and relevant context may be used by Tim AI to personalise its answers. Tim AI never receives the recording or the full transcript. You can ask your coach not to record a call, or not to use call notes in Tim AI, at any time.
5. Photos
Photos you take or upload in the Food Tracker (meals and nutrition labels) and Menu Audit (menus) are sent to the AI to be read. Meal photos are kept for up to 24 hours so you can review them, then deleted — the food entries stay. Label and menu photos are not stored after they’re read. Progress photos are not sent to AI. Please don’t include other people, faces, documents or anything personal in food or menu photos.
6. Third-party providers
AI features rely on third-party providers acting on our behalf, currently:
- Anthropic (Claude AI models) — text and image analysis for Tim AI and the AI tools;
- your device’s or browser’s speech recognition (for example Apple or Google) — Voice logging, under that provider’s own terms;
- Fathom — coaching-call recording and summaries.
Barcode lookups use public product databases (Open Food Facts and USDA FoodData Central); only the barcode number or search words are sent, never your personal information. Providers may change as technology evolves, and we’ll keep this list current.
Providers process data to deliver their service to us. Under its commercial terms, our AI provider does not use your data to train its models; it may keep inputs and outputs for a limited period for safety and abuse monitoring. Providers may process data in the United States and other countries — see our Privacy Policy.
7. Memory and personalisation
We don’t keep transcripts of your Tim AI conversations on our servers. Messages in an open chat stay on your device for that session, and each answer is generated from your message plus the account context in section 3. Personalisation comes from information already stored in your account — for example your food log and favourites — which you can view, edit or delete in the app; you can ask us to delete other information. For each AI request we keep a basic usage record (which feature, how much was used and what it cost), not its content, to run and budget the service.
8. Limitations of AI
- Mistakes. AI can produce information that is incorrect or made up, while sounding confident.
- Estimates. Macros from photos, voice or descriptions are estimates. Database and label values — including products added by other members — can be wrong. Check portions and numbers that matter to you.
- Inconsistency. The same question can get different answers at different times.
- Bias and gaps. AI can reflect biases or gaps in what it learned, and may not know recent information.
- No professional judgement. AI doesn’t examine you and doesn’t know everything about your health.
9. Not medical or professional advice
AI output is general information to support your coaching. It is not medical, dietetic, psychological or other professional advice, and it is not a diagnosis or treatment. Talk to a qualified health professional before changing your diet or training — especially if you have a medical condition, take medication, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. See our Disclaimer.
Calorie and macro tracking isn’t right for everyone. If you have, or are recovering from, an eating disorder, or if tracking food makes you anxious, please talk to your coach and a health professional before using these features. In Canada, the National Eating Disorder Information Centre (nedic.ca) can help.
In an emergency, call 911. If you are in crisis or thinking about suicide, call or text 9-8-8 (in Canada and the United States).
10. Human oversight
Reviewed by a person: monthly progress reports and changes to your nutrition plan are reviewed by your coaching team before they reach you.
Automatic — not reviewed before you see it: Tim AI, Food Tracker estimates, the nutrition tools and the workout builder. Use your judgement, review AI output before relying on it, and ask your coach about anything that seems off.
11. No automated decisions about you
AI is not used to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you, such as your access to the app, your membership or what you pay. Access to the app follows your membership status in our membership system and decisions by our team; AI is not involved.
12. Training
We don’t use your information to train AI models, and our AI provider doesn’t use it to train theirs. We may use aggregated, de-identified statistics (for example, how often a feature is used) to run and improve the service.
13. Products you add to the shared library
When you add a product from its Nutrition Facts label, its details — name, brand, serving size and nutrition values, not information about you — are shared so every member who scans that barcode can use it. Please enter what’s on the package. We may correct or remove entries.
14. Acceptable use of AI features
You agree not to use the AI features to:
- get help with anything illegal, dangerous or harmful to yourself or others;
- create harassing, hateful, sexual or violent content;
- bypass safety rules, or try to make the AI ignore or reveal its instructions;
- extract our coaching methods, prompts or other people’s information;
- upload other people’s information or photos without their permission; or
- present AI output as personal advice from Tim or another coach.
See our Terms of Service for the full rules.
15. Your choices
You don’t have to use the AI features. You can log food by Barcode or Search (database results) and contact your coach directly instead of using Tim AI. You can ask us not to use call notes in Tim AI, and you can withdraw your consent to AI processing by contacting us — some features (Tim AI, Photo and Voice logging and the AI nutrition tools) won’t work without it.
16. No voice cloning or synthetic likeness
We don’t create voice clones, video avatars or other synthetic likenesses of you or anyone else.
17. Reporting a problem
If the AI gives you something harmful, unsafe or clearly wrong, email tim@macrointuitive.com and tell us what happened. We’ll look into it.
18. Changes to this disclosure
We’ll update this disclosure as our use of AI changes. If we make material changes, we’ll tell you in the app and ask you to review and accept the new version. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
